Masons Support Grizzly Academy

The Masons of King David’s Masonic Lodge in San Luis Obispo recently donated $2,000 to the Grizzly Challenge Youth Academy headquartered at Camp San Luis Obispo, the Lodge announced. The presentation was part of the Lodge’s ‘Spring 2018 Philanthropy Program’ that has given away more than $22,000. The monies will be used for scholarships to support at-risk youth enrolled in the Grizzly Academy, which is operated by the California Army National Guard. The King David’s Lodge supports a variety of non-profit, philanthropic efforts, both locally and statewide. The Lodge also awards over $20,000 a year in scholarships to local high school seniors.
