Nashville Picker Plays Last Stage West

Nashville, Tenn., recording artist, guitarist and entertainer, Juan John, will play the Last Stage West/Toro Creek Events Center on Hwy 41, from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12. Free admission and LSW cooks up a killer barbecue, plus refreshments on sale.

John (real name — Juan Eduardo De Hoyos) has opened for people like Eric Church, Charlie Daniels, Hank William, Jr., Lee Brice and 4-time Grammy winning guitarist, David Greer with Alison Krauss.

A self-taught prodigy, John has been playing guitar since he was 13, when he pulled his first guitar out of a dumpster in Phoenix, Ariz. On that discarded, broken instrument, he taught himself to play Ozzy Osbourne’s “Diary of a Madman” on the three remaining strings. His shows are world-class acoustic performances that fuse popular music, guitar virtuosity, and humor.

See his website at: for more on the musician. See: for information about the Toro Creek Events Center.
