Listener-supported community radio station 97.3 FM and 107.9 FM The Rock, will celebrate its fifth year on the air with its annual fundraising concert, set for 6 p.m. Friday, April 7 at the Morro Bay Vet’s Hall. Everyone is invited.
There is no admission fee for the concert, which features performances by Jill Knight, Rob Espinosa (It’s A Beautiful Day), Wood, Ricky Montijo and The Mermen. There will be freshly tapped beer, wine, and great food for sale.
An auction will happen between musical acts. Make sure to bring valid ID and your best friends.
“We are truly blessed to have such an incredible lineup this year,” said The Rock’s founder and president Hal Abrams. “It’s truly amazing to see the community come together to donate their services, time and money to make this concert and the station a phenomenal success. The legendary ‘Mermen’ are coming to Morro Bay for a rare must-see show and musical experience. How cool is that?”
