• Aug. 27: Police responded at 11:30 p.m. to a disturbance in the 500 block of LaJolla St., and arrested a 33-year-old maniac for suspicion of brandishing a knife and making criminal threats.
• Aug. 27: Police responded at 4:48 p.m. to the 600 block of Morro where someone’s car was gone in 60 seconds.
• Aug. 27: Police got a late report of a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash at Morro Bay Blvd. and Kern Ave., that occurred on June 1, as it apparently took a while to get ticked off about it.
• Aug. 26: Police received a report from a citizen who said he or she saw a stumblebum stumbling about inside of Albertson’s at 7:35 p.m. Police pulled the hellified gent over and busted him for suspicion of driving with a snoot full on a suspended license to boot.
• Aug. 26: Police contacted a couple of regular customers at 5 p.m. in the 1300 block of Main and arrested madam scofflaw for three, misdemeanor warrants. She went to the hoosegow. Mr. Law n’ Order had but one failure to appear notice, so was cited and released, soon to have two.
• Aug. 26: Police responded at 2:45 p.m. to the 600 block of Harbor where a man said he was attacked and bitten by his own dog. The miserable cur and apparent former best friend was turned over to Animal Reg for potential extermination.
• Aug. 25: Someone called at 1:40 p.m. to report a hit-n-split at Main and the Boulevard.
• Aug. 25: Police contacted a suspicious subject at 1:19 p.m. in the police station. Logs indicated the master criminal was being accused of giving a false ID to police and “false personation.” A report was sent to the D.A. so he or she’s in trouble now!
• Aug. 25: Someone found some cash money and turned it in to police.
• Aug. 25: Some graffidiot went on a tagging spree at several businesses on the Embarcadero.
• Aug. 25: Police towed a motorhome off from the 400 block of Atascadero Rd., for violation of the 11th Commandment — Thou shalt not park too long in one spot.
• Aug. 25: Police responded to a disturbance at 1:37 a.m. in the 900 block of Main. A 27-year-old bombed bub was busted.
• Aug. 24: A citizen in the 500 block of Napa apparently woke up dead from natural causes.
• Aug. 23: At 10:43 p.m. in the 500 block of the Boulevard someone reported a “voluntary missing person,” no word on where Waldo went.
• Aug. 23: A citizen in the 1200 block of Bolton Dr., said he or she was ripped off.
• Aug. 23: Someone turned in $14 that he or she found on the ground in the 300 block of Main.
• Aug. 23: Police towed off another scofflaw’s car from Surf and West for not giving the DMV its pint of blood. They also towed off a red Chevy Cobalt from the 2900 block of Cedar for parking too long.
• Aug. 22: Someone reportedly found a baggie of the evil weed at the stairs of the North Point Natural Area and gave it to police to flush away.
• Aug. 22: A citizen in the 700 block of Cabrillo Pl., reported an attempted phone scam and credit card fraud.
• Aug. 22: Police investigated a suspected battery at an old folks home on Teresa Drive. A report was sent to the D.A. for possible inaction.
• Aug. 22: Police responded to the 600 block of Embarcadero for a report of the attempted theft of three bicycles, no doubt foiled by the ol’ bike lock trick.
• Aug. 22: Police contacted a suspicious subject at 10 a.m. in the 300 block of Main. The flapped out fellow was tossed for suspicion of being higher than the stacks on drugs.
• Aug. 21: Police and fire responded at 2:10 a.m. to the 2800 block of Fir for a structure fire. A detached garage was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived but the fire was soon extinguished. There were no injuries. Logs indicated the resident “stated he had marijuana plants and several small canisters of butane at the location.”
